New Teensy 2.0++ Board will not load.

I have a new Teensy 2.0++ board that I am trying to load with the HalfKay loader.
The board has the blinking light every second when I plug it in.
When I press the reload button...the light goes off.
But when I start the loader program, the program never gets off the screen that says "Press Button To Activate".
It's as if the USB connection is not being recognized.

I have Windows 7 and am using the Vista/Windows 7 Download of the loader.
Nothing the computer does indicates a new device has been plugged in.
I don't see any indication of this new HID device in the Device Manager Tree.

Problem solved....bad cable.
I had ordered two cables with the board, and obviously the first one I tried was bad.
So just because you have power to your board, don't assume the USB signal lines are OK.
