I asked (http://electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/68153/are-there-female-2-54mm-screw-terminals/68167) whether female pluggable 2.54 mm screw terminals exist on electronics.SE. Apparently so they do exist (http://www.china-terminals.com/products/Buy-good-Quality-Pluggable-Terminal-Block-125V-4A-KF12EY-pitch-2-54mm-1304109.html).

If I understand all the terminology correctly, these could simply be plugged onto the Teensy pins, providing a middle ground between breadboarding and soldering everything down. Some of us have shaky hands (http://electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/67986/what-tips-or-techniques-can-be-used-to-hand-solder-rework-fine-pitch-parts).

I suppose most people would simply put a breadboard in a protective box, but it seemed worth mentioning.
