Teensy 3.1 and OpenLog

For I project I use Teensy 3.1 and OpenLog and would like to be able to have a serial port connected to a PC or Mac and have the OpenLog SD card show up as a drive with files on it. I know some efforts have been made (Elastic Sheep) but it seems with limited success. Someone has done work on something similar before, and would like to discuss how to do it?
