Hi all
Does anyone have any knowledge of Piezo shock sensors they could offer me?
I'm looking for a SMD piezo shock sensor which is nice and cheap but reliable enough to detect the shock of an arcade button being pushed. I need to detect between extremely soft and very hard strikes, reliably.
Edit: I intend to mount the piezo sensor either directly underneath the button or directly next to, on a pcb, to which the button contacts are directly soldered.
I bought a "Tape" piezo for my main MPC project but this is not suitable for another project I have in mind, so not a lot of use!
There appear to be many options with various frequencies available, I am a bit lost.
Any ideas?
cheers
Jon
