Hello and thanks for reading my question!

I'm familiar with Arduino but new to Teensy. I am planning a simple Christmas light display for my garage and I would like to know how best to send the data to the WS2812B strips.

I plan to use either the Gladiator software (or something similar) to feed data to the LED strips. I can either use Artnet and send the visual data from my main computer or I can mount a MacBook (it's missing its LCD so I use it headless) next to the Teensy and feed it data via the USB cable. (With the MacBook controlled remotely from my main computer, but then set to just run the visuals on a schedule after everything is up and running well.)

The MacBook being controlled remotely is no problem for me, so please disregard that when considering my question.

So my question is which is easiest? Using Artnet or direct USB for data input to the Teensy?

Thanks!
