Out of curiosity, do any of the Audio Adapter's input pins need to be driven by PWM?

I ask because I noticed that it was designed to use 5 of the 10 primary PWM pins from the Teensy.
(I'm not trying to be critical, just curious about the pin choice from the Teensy itself.)

Nope, none of the audio shield pins need PWM.

Some need other types of signals from pins that could have been used for PWM, so that cuts into the number of PWM pins you can have. But none are actually used as PWM.

That's what I thought. Thanks Paul.
