Teensy 3.5 RTC Not Working

Hi

I loaded the example sketch settime from the DS1307RTC library. When I open the serial monitor not happens it remains blank. I am using Arduino IDE 1.6.12. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you actually connect a DS1307 chip?

If you want to use the built in RTC, upload File > Examples > Time > TimeTeensy3

Thanks for getting back to me so fast. I ran TimeTeensy3 and worked like a charm. I assumed the RTC on board was a DS1307. That's what I get for not reading the whole Time Lib page you set up.

Are you able to retain the time after disconnecting power supply (while keeping a coin cell attached)?
