As described in the fresscale Mk20 cortecx M4 proc, there is a way to use an external reference clock. To do that, there are a few registers to set up. My questions concerns that special case with teensy3.2. To achive this , do I need to flash a software with all the settings to function with external clock and then do the hardware modification ? I dont know much about the bootlaoder procedure and the way the proc is working while flashing, so is it possible to use an external reference clock and flash the proc as usual (I mean as if using the 16Mhz quartz mode)?
