larger PSRAM chip

Hi,

was wondering if anyone know of or tryed larger PSRAM chips that would work with the Teensys 4.1. If you wanted more then the 2X8MB?

I'm not aware of any other chips (which you can buy) - that's why I asked.
Quite possible that I missed something.
 
There are many huge PSRAM chips on the market, the problem is, the larger ones are all xSPI (8 lanes or more) and not compatible with the QSPI (4 lanes) implementation on Teensy 4.1., so a simple footprint adapter could not thelp.

I've looked it up and checked several dozens of datasheets, but there is actually only the IPUS IPS6404LSQ / ESP PSRAM64H and relabels left for use.
 
A few months ago I exchanged several emails with ApMemory, the company that actually makes ESP PSRAM64H and apparently all the others. They confirmed no larger QSPI chips are planned.
 
Thanks you both for your reply. I have also been reading spec sheets of octal spi chip in hope there was a quad spi mode. But no luck as of yet.
