I'd love one, so fun to see your improvement work on the hardware I started! How do we proceed? I have you on email, I can send the details there. :D Being named by Dogbone06 would be amazing, if I may. I think the other names should be there...

Thanks, but I should decline. I'm currently working on another project and probably can't do much at this time.

Infineon also linked me to this for Bluetooth: https://infineon.github.io/btsdk-docs/BT-SDK/AIROC-HCI-Control-Protocol.pdf

@sparkfro thanks for trying. Looks like the only source of information is their driver code. Either they don't know what's being asked, they can't talk about it, or it actually doesn't exist.

QNEthernet_WIFI_0.36.0 is available here: https://github.com/wwatson4506/QNEthernet_WIFI/tree/QNEthernet_WIFI_0.36.0 Quite a few changes needed to be made to the CYW4343W driver to make it work with the new QNEthernet library. The main one was...

Also @Dogbone06 would you like to be attributed in our hardware design? If so, please let me know how you'd like to be attributed (eg. username, real name, etc.). Note that we typically license our designs under Creative Commons Attribution...

We've completed our internal design review and are ready to order prototypes. Want to make sure I have allocations correct: @shawn 2 for you @wwatson 1 for you @defragster 1 for you @Dogbone06 @PaulStoffregen @KurtE @mjs513 I haven't seen...

Murata tech support just pointed me to the following: User Guides ( https://community.murata.com/s/help-tab ) Forum ( https://community.murata.com/s/ ) MyMurata (https://my.murata.com/en/home) I've got in touch with Infineon, hoping they can...

I'd consider signing an NDA for this too.
    • sparkfro
I can try to reach out. Heads up that vendors often lock this info behind NDAs, so can't make any promises.

Ah that explains it. My eyes aint as good as they use to be - re the antenna,. Now it all makes sense.

It will need some combination of headers. I'll admit that I haven't yet thought through exactly what combination would be best, but it's definitely doable, so I'm putting that off until I get prototypes in hand. Can share what I put together once...

Apologies for my delay, I had another project taking up all of my time for the last couple weeks, but I'm working on this again! I've updated the design based on feedback here, and polished it up. Please let me know what you think! We'll do an...

Great questions, thank you! I'll admit that I've really not used Teensy much myself, so this is great to understand some use cases and interactions with other hardware. Please feel free to bring up other use cases and potential hardware...

Very helpful, thank you! Ok, here's a quickly-put-together schematic and board layout. Haven't yet done any controlled impedance or length matching for traces, and definitely need more GND vias. Will do that later, want to first get feedback to...

@sparkfro - I am trying to find the schematic used for @Dogbone06 1DX board. Don't quote me on this but I think it is HOST_WAKE signal. Our current software is not using the In-band interrupt. //////////////////// // In-band interrupt...
    • sparkfro
Yep! Though it's the same exact pinout, minus a few pins. From Murata's 1DX and 1YN comparison, the 1DX has the following pins and the 1YN does not (changed to NC): None of those are a dedicated interrupt. From the CYW43439 datasheet, section...

Oh of course! I should have looked at the reference manual. Thanks for the clarification! FYI I started tinkering with the schematic and board layout. I'm following Murata's 1YN antenna design reference; it fits neatly between the headers, but...

FWIW I've tried using SDIO with jumper wires before (different project) and had a bad time. Use the shortest wires you can if you're using jumpers.

@sparkfro - Sorry. You are correct uSDHC1 is the SD card slot and uSDHC2 is the external SDIO pins. Been awhile. I checked the driver to make sure...

FWIW I poked through Murata's WiFi/Bluetooth catalog and DigiKey's product pages. 1YN is the cheapest option, and the only active 2.4GHz module. Murata has a number of modules that support 5GHz (and even 6GHz), though they're all more expensive...
