    Powering Teensy Audio Board Externally

This is excellent advice! Thank you! Whether ultra low noise or not, at least your recommendations are way to add multiple external devices safely, without hitting the 250 mA limit on the 3.3 V power rail of the Teensy. I’ll keep all this in mind designing my project. Thanks again!

    Powering Teensy Audio Board Externally

Thank you for all the excellent information! I am wishing to use a high quality 3 pin linear regulator (made specially for audio use) to power the Teensy audio shield. Would a MOSFET connected to the 3.3v power output to the of the Teensy (4.1) controlling the external 3.3v power into the...

    Powering Teensy Audio Board Externally

Is it acceptable to power the Teensy audio shield with an external 3.3 V regulator? I would be keeping the ground wires connected but removing the 3.3 V pin from the audio shield to be powered separately, not by the Teensy itself. Any advice or thoughts would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Reassign Audio In/Out Pins - Teensy 4.x + Audio Board

Is there anything special about pin 7 and 8 on the Teensy 4.x connected to the official audio board? (D-Audio in and D-Audio out respectively.) Would it be possible to modify what pins are used within the audio library and manually redirect those pins to alternate pins on the Teensy 4.x? (With...

Wire1 and Wire2 Stop Functioning When Second WAV File is Played on Audio Sheild

I am using the Teensy 4.1 with the Audio shield, and the Serial Wombat I2C input device. I have two rotary encoders and one button setup successfully with the I2C Serial wombat device, connected to Wire2. The following is my code: #include <Audio.h> #include <Wire.h> #include <SPI.h>...

Wire1 and Wire2 Stop Functioning When Second WAV File is Played on Audio Sheild

I am using a Teensy 4.1 and the Audio shield with a simple program that mixes two WAV files. Also connected are two I2C devices, one on Wire1 and the other on Wire2. (One is a button input device and the other is output relay device.) If I am playing one of the WAV files (either one)...
