Teensy 3.6 + Audio Boards for sale

Hi all. I'm cleaning out my drawer of microcontrollers and I found these goodies (new-old-stock in original antistatic bags, but lacking the cardboard pinout printout): 3x Teensy 3.6 boards, $40 ea 3x Teensy Audio Boards (rev C, for Teensy 3.x), $15 ea Payment via PayPal or Zelle. I'll also...

Audio Recording / Logging to SD card --> microSoundRecorder

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! I just achieved a stereo test recording with the Teensy 3.6 + Teensy Audio Shield Rev C. (using the uSD slot on the Teensy). In config.h I set ACQ to _I2S. In MyAPP.cpp I added: Around Line 80: #if ACQ == _I2S #include "control_sgtl5000.h"...

Audio Recording / Logging to SD card --> microSoundRecorder

Thanks so much for microSoundRecorder. Is it possible to use the Teensy Audio Shield and its SGTL5000 codec? I selected ACQ _I2S and tried it, but the recorded files are silent. (I understand that this combination is listed as "untested" on the wiki.) I know I need to instantiate the...

    Bat detector

I'll follow-up via PM but in the meantime I put a summary on my website: https://www.zachpoff.com/resources/diy-teensy-bat-detector/ Many thanks to Edwin and Cor for making this tool possible. As time goes on I'll update with audio samples.

    Bat detector

One more code request: 4) It would be very convenient to have variable increments in the RTC clock set menu item (so when the encoder turns faster, the increments are minutes, but switch to seconds when the encoder turns slower?) It took me 20 minutes of turning to set the clock.

    Bat detector

I finally built my detector, using Edwin's board and MEMS mic PCBs. Truly an amazing project. I'm so grateful to all involved. I added a tiny LiPo charger from Adafruit to handle the battery charging. I also made a 3D-printed enclosure using OpenSCAD so it should be easy for others to modify to...

    Bat detector

I wonder if the z-axis layering of the 3D-printed horn causes audible artifacts since the ultrasound wavelengths are very short. Some simple observations about ultrasound horns: Peterson's M500 detector looks like it uses a Knowles FG capsule. Their removable horn looks like a very narrow...

    Bat detector

Edwin, thanks for the Teensy 4 advice. For now I will stay busy assembling the bat detector based on your guide and a Teensy 3.6. I just placed an eBay order for your board + several of the MEMS mic boards to experiment with. (Do you use a reflow oven? I have wondered about DIY techniques for...

    Bat detector

This is my first time post, but I have been following this thread for a long time. I'm so impressed with the work so far! I'm interested in recording and monitoring bat sounds in an art and activism context, to share my fascination with the species that live around us (above us!) by making their...
