Fast Convolution Filtering with Teensy 4.0 and audio board

@DD4WH: I am referring to this code from the repo.: "uniformly_partitioned_convolution.ino" which give the error message not enough memory or so. The guitar ino compiles. "(@ItsMe: hmm, there is no code with that name in the given github repo . . . so I do not know what you mean. Does the code...

Fast Convolution Filtering with Teensy 4.0 and audio board

@DD4WH Sorry for asking again :), do you have a suggestion on how to get the "Fast Convolution Filtering with Teensy 4.0 and audio board " https://github.com/DD4WH/Uniformly_partitioned_convolution/ to compile? Regards

Fast Convolution Filtering with Teensy 4.0 and audio board

Yes, guitar compiles. The not-compiling uniformly... file is moved by the IDE to the sketch folder (which is on a separate drive).

Fast Convolution Filtering with Teensy 4.0 and audio board

"Which Teensy version did you choose in Teensyduino? " In the Arduino IDE (1.8.11) I chose board "Teensy4". Is there anything in Teensyduino to configure? Had installed Teensudino 1.50. The code is taken from (without change) https://github.com/DD4WH/Uniformly_partitioned_convolution

Fast Convolution Filtering with Teensy 4.0 and audio board

DD4WH: Compiling the code as it is I get this error message: .... c:/program files (x86)/arduino/hardware/tools/arm/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/5.4.1/../../../../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld.exe: o:\TEMPOR~1\arduino_build_502961/Teensy_Convolution_filtering.ino.elf section `.bss.dma' will not fit in...

Fast Convolution Filtering with Teensy 4.0 and audio board

Could somebody suggest which changes have to be made for using the T4-audio shield rev D instead of the PCM5102A DAC and PCM1808 ADC modules to the code by DD4WH "Fast Convolution Filtering with Teensy 4.0 and audio board (https://github.com/DD4WH/Uniformly_partitioned_convolution/)" ? Thanks.

Fast Convolution Filtering with Teensy 4.0 and audio board

@DD4WH: Could you post which changes have to be made to the code "Fast Convolution Filtering with Teensy 4.0 and audio board (Github)" for using the T4-audio shield rev D instead of the separate DAC and ADC?

Fast Convolution Filtering with Teensy 4.0 and audio board

That's weird since totally unexpected in view of boards being sold with those (short) header pins oriented downwards (for instance https://opencircuit.shop/Product/Teensy-4-met-headers) The mounting picture is hard to understand (shown for T3 (!) https://www.pjrc.com/store/teensy3_audio.html)...

@DD4WH: Would mounting the T4 to the T4-Audio-Shield like suggested in the photo above be ok?

How to setup externally triggered DMA transfer from ADC to RAM (T3.5/T4)

Thanks, KurtE I had seen that thread but it does not seem to address the question on how to set up DMA-transfer (ADC-->RAM) being triggered externally. In my working solution with the ATXMega I have the ADC running free and I start DMA transfer upon a trigger from the internal comparator (could...

Fast Convolution Filtering with Teensy 4.0 and audio board

Hi, the T4 audio shield just had arrived. Now the hurdle is how to connect the pieces together. I had soldered common header pins to the Teensy T4 board (sticking downwards) prior to having the audio shield. Apparently, it would have been better to use A 14 pin socket. It's hard to reverse if...

How to setup externally triggered DMA transfer from ADC to RAM (T3.5/T4)

I am looking for a solution to do faster data acquisition than with my current ATXmega256A3BU setup (32MHz). With the Xmega and using Bascom IDE that is quite a simple task. But with the Teensys I did not find a solution. It's kind of boxcar integrator with the purpose of averaging the...

No, just ordered the shield, should arrive within in a few days. Just connect the audio shield and the code (#35) should work? Meanwhile I tried your code for the Teensy3.5 (Frank DD4WH 2016_10_29). I get the error "'arm_cfft_instance_f32' does not name a type" from line 145 (const static...

@DD4WH Could you kindly advise how to modify your code "Real Time PARTITIONED BLOCK CONVOLUTION FILTERING" (Post #35) to connect to the "Audio Shield for Teensy 4.0" from Antratek? The individual ADC and DAC boards are hard to get in time. Thank you, Cheers
