NT35510_t4x_p - a parallel display driver for Teensy 4.x boards

I just found this, I think it's great that we finally get some parallel display support for teensy. I'm having troubles getting a display to work, I have a buy display NT35510 4 inch display, the one listed at the beginning of this thread. I have had this display working with the arduino GFX...

ra8875/GSL1680 .teensy 4.0 ..touch panel functional but an issue

That’s an interesting way to do it, would love to hear more on how exactly that’s done. I am kinda in the same boat, porting the BuyDisplay code over to a dedicated library is a bit over my head. Hoping maybe someone with better coding skills might tackle it. I did try to just throw all the...

I looked more into the code example that does work; I cut selective snippets from the Arduino Due example sketch provided by BuyDisplay. https://www.buydisplay.com/arduino/Libraries-Examples_ER-TFTM050A2-3.zip The examples and libraries work fine right out of the box with an arduino DUE...

ra8875/GSL1680 .teensy 4.0 ..touch panel functional but an issue

I just re-downloaded the GSL1680 library from the arduino site, and ran the example. Using a T4 and the 5 inch buy display screen. The issue with mine, only the bottom of the touch screen will register and report touch x and y. The x scales fine from 0-799, but the y only has a range of 1...

    RA8875 from Buydisplay

Edit, using a rom font is about 42 times slower than the default font. I’ve been playing around a bit with the ROM fonts, trying to figure out how to access the different character sets in the ROM. Not having a lot of luck, but it’s a minor issue at this point. Getting some pretty good...

That works great! thanks I also found this: tft.setFont(INTFONT); is shown in the external font ROM examples, but i cant seem to get that to work. Quick Question(s), I am starting a small sketch using this RA8875 library, and a T3.2. right now the sketch is fairly simple, i am reading 3 analog inputs ( A0-A2 ), averaging them, and printing them to the TFT ( 5 inch 800x480 unit from buyDisplay ). Playing around with the fonts, I am...

Ili9341_t3n, speed tests and crappy cables.

I hear you there! I have a few little board I made up for other displays, RA8875, IlI9486/9488. They sure help a lot, especially when using 16 bit parallel. I knew about the data sheet SPI bus setting, though I thought it was 40MHz not 30.... I played around with it a bit more last night...

That’s good advice. But I wonder how that might be done with a development board that has just a .100 header. Even if I were to roll my own board, and get the teensy SPI traces as short as possible to the ribbon connector, how would one accomplish this? The ribbon connector doesn’t appear to...

Wireless mesh or tree network, need advice.

Frank, thanks for the reply. I don’t know much about GSM, had to look it up just to make sure. I’m guessing that it would need cell (phone) coverage to work? If that’s the case, that won’t work as 50% of the time we are working where there is poor to no coverage. If not though, that might be a...
