Help with pot - linear vs audio

Hi, I've received a load of these slide potentiometers from here: https://www.mouser.co.uk/ProductDetail/Bourns/PTB0153-2010BPB103?qs=oyIm%2F3giSj5kYFpI22NVZw%3D%3D As you can see on the link, these are linear potentiometers. However, when I read them with the Teensy's ADC I get what look very...

[posted] SmartLED Shield for Teensy 4 - Drive RGB Matrix with 10k+ Pixels

Hi. Did anyone get this working with daisy chained HUB75 panels? I've had a look at the wiki and there are suggestions that this is possible, but nothing explicitly stating this is a feature in the library, or how do set this up.

Perennial issues with Teensy 4.1 serial

I soldered to the initial one that didn’t work, but just headers - I’ve literally used hundreds of teensys and I don’t think I’ve ever managed to kill one. The others that didn’t work were brand new. The working one out of the 5 seems to be working fine though.

Perennial issues with Teensy 4.1 serial

Hi all - thanks for the replies. I've actually gone back to my workshop and grabbed a bunch more Teensy 4.1s, to find that 4 out of 5 of them appear DOA. It could be a USB cabling issue, but I've tried about 15 cables now, and it wouldn't really explain why one of them seems totally fine - FYI...

Perennial issues with Teensy 4.1 serial

Hi all, I'm having constant issues with serial ports on Teensy 4.1 boards. Basically, my Teensy's USB serial emulation appears to be breaking. I'll take you through the steps: 1. Upload LED blink example. Led blinks as expected. 2. Upload Serial Echo Example - serial port compltely disappears...

    3.3V RS485 interfacing

Hi, thanks for your reply. My issue is that there's an ambiguity in the information provided by the seller. It says: "Fully equipped with SP3485 RS-485 transceiver and supporting components Operates from a single +3.3V supply Interoperable with +5.0V logic" This suggests to me that it doesn't...

    Controlling high brightness LEDs

Although they are expensive, I’ve found the ReCom drivers are really good for these types of LEDs.

    3.3V RS485 interfacing

Hi all. I’m looking into those little (and in my experience, fairly decent) RS485 boards, and notice most of them use a MAX485 chip, which won’t work with teensy as it’s 5V. I’ve stumbled upon these boards. Although these take a 3.3V power supply, does anyone know if their logic will be at 5V...

    OctoWS2811 Issues

Hi all, I'm having a bit of a nightmare using OctoWS2811 board (Teensy 3.2) with a WS2815 led strip. So... I have a couple of strange things happening. 1. I only seem to be able to get a usable signal from the first twisted pair on my CAT6. 2. I only seem to be ableto transit data to my...
