    Teensy 4.0 Breakout Kit

Thanks so much for the replies regarding header and pin sets. I was not aware of the offering from Adafruit that matches the Teensy so well. Was not aware of Protosupplies at all, that looks like a good resource and the fact their female headers are snappable makes them very attractive.

    Teensy 4.0 Breakout Kit

I'm kind of embarrassed to say I bought the kit back in May of 2020, and I'm only now getting around to assembling it. I would love to buy the socket set with the low profile bits, but it doesn't seem to be available?

    Pin Out Cards?

Thanks !!! I'm dense.... Everything you could want under reference.... now I feel dumb, but that's OK, I found what I needed !

    Pin Out Cards?

I've looked here and there on the PJRC web site, and I'm having no luck finding the pin outs for anything other than the Teensy 4.1. I frankly can't fathom why they wouldn't be within one link of the https://www.pjrc.com/teensy/index.html page, or https://www.pjrc.com/teensy/techspecs.html...

    Future Teensy features & pinout

Form factor for lots of I/O, DIMM module? https://wiki.somlabs.com/index.php/VisionSOM-RT On a 4.1 I would very much like both of the Ethernet ports on the 1162 brought out as RMII signals. I can roll my own phy, magnetics and connectors. SD for sure, and USB host pins ala 3.6 would be great...

    Teensy 4.0 Release

Very Cool Stuff. Is there a specific data sheet for the 1062, or is the 1060 or 1064 the same except for flash size? Any thoughts on making an extended version with more of the peripherals broken out? Ethernet, LCD drive, camera etc?

    Teensy 4.0 Release

Quick dumb question, I see the blurb says it has two USB high speed ports, does it support a USB host port like the 3.6 ?

    Dual channel 16bit dac PT8211

Looking at your schematic, you might have problems because there is no DC bias path for the opamp inputs, Some high value resistors between VOUT1 and VOUT2 to a bias point of half the supply would help.

Teensy 3.6 USB MIDI host development status

I've been away for a while and just found the USB host lib for the 3.6. I tested it with an Oxygen 25 controller and it works great! My next step is to link one of the color displays and audio boards to it and start monkeying with synth output. I haven't tried it through a hub, but will at some...

    New I2C library for Teensy3

Forgive me if I'm missing something obvious, but wire.readByte and wire.peekByte seem like they'll have a problem if the data byte to be returned is a zero. How do you tell the difference between a zero data byte and the buffer being empty?

Highly optimized ILI9341 (320x240 TFT color display) library

That makes a lot of sense, if that is available. I'll try checking values and not redrawing if they haven't changed, and if they have, redraw in black then display new value. Part of what I've been displaying is the time it takes for the various parts of the display, in microseconds, and a...

Highly optimized ILI9341 (320x240 TFT color display) library

KurtE, not using transparent text. Each frame I was updating 7 different numeric values at the bottom of the display in yellow, and I'm clearing them between draws by filling a rectangle with black. It seemed to me that would actually be faster than re-displaying the same text in black to clear...

Highly optimized ILI9341 (320x240 TFT color display) library

Thanks for the feedback pepijndevos, I'll have to dig into the spec sheet for the controller and see if the vblank flag can be accessed via spi. I'm working on what amounts to an oscilloscope display, I've currently got it reading an A/D channel and displaying a nice waveform on a 10x10 grid...

Highly optimized ILI9341 (320x240 TFT color display) library

Quick question about the tft library. Is there a flag in the controller or a library function that allows synchronizing to the display refresh? Kind of how in crt days you'd try to update the display during vertical blank so you didn't have tearing of the display with animations? Thanks if...
