2.4" LCD Guidance

I was given a super cheap hand held emulater deal. Retro FC PLUS.

It self is junk. But could be used to replace with a Teensy 4.1 maybe?

It looks to have this screen? 24 pin connector.

I have never done anything with LCD's like this and looking for some hold my hand stuff on how to
hook up this? like a ribbon cable 24pin breakout? any libraries recommended, ect.

If you search the forum for ST7789, you will find many threads and discussions of various libraries. Maybe also someone will tell you which is the "best", but you should start reading so that you know can figure out whether the screen you have is the same as what others are using.

Any recommendation on 24pin breakout cables?

As for the screen itself, really don't see any markings on it.
Just the ribbon cable itself.
