2 input mixer

Hi, just after some advice before I get the kit - im looking to make a simple 2 channel line level mixer and I’m thinking the teensey 4.1 and the audio shield, looks like they will do for my needs and potentially provide some kind of processing of the audio signal on the way to the output.
levels should be able to be controlled via the teensey and pots (just from looking at some sketches)

has anyone done this?

any pointers?

I’m not an audio user, so I can’t answer definitively, but there’s an audio tutorial on the PHRC site that I suspect will answer your question. Also just searching the forum and YouTube will turn up a lot of resources.

One thing to watch out for is zipper noise if you just use a pot to set the gain of a mixer object. It’s better to use a fader object with a short fade time. Google will find you a few examples of this cropping up on this very forum…
