3-Blinks Flash Error on Custom Teensy 4.1-like Board Using W25Q16JVUXIQ

Hello everyone,
I designed and manufactured a custom PCB similar to the Teensy 4.1, using the NXP i.MX RT1062 MCU and a W25Q16JVUXIQ external QSPI flash chip.
When powering on the board, I got a 3-blinks error indicating a flash problem. After replacing the flash chip with one taken from an old Teensy 4.0, the board started working properly.
The new flash chip I used is original and brand new.
Could you please advise how to resolve this issue with the new flash IC?
Thanks for your help!

Look under the "Supported Chips" heading:
IQ and IM are the same product

They are not the same product. That explanation (which I suspect is AI generated) is incorrect. Here is the correct explanation taken from the actual chip datasheet (and the reason why the -Q models will not work):

Thank you so much for your quick reply and your explication.
It's clear now, your answer is very convincing.
