so i buildt this application. a tool for the Teensy Audio Library. lets you simulate on the computer. hear the result before you flash it on the device. supports node grouping(inspired by Blender). save and load projects as json. its in really early stage. i think it has som potential. if there is any interests ?
i only have a Linux build right now. maybe i should create a repo for it. i really have no experience, i just did it for fun and for my own need.

This looks interesting. A similar take to the Design Tool update on this thread, but with the ability to listen on your Linux PC prior to flashing code.

The previous effort got quite far down the road to using the OSC protocol to interact with my Dynamic Audio branch, making live changes on a running Teensy, then fizzled out (no reply to my last post, back in 2022 ).

One thing you might want to consider is the ability to mark blocks or groups as "voice components", such that if used in a synth design they are needed N times when N voices are playing. Those could either be instantiated on the fly (if the Dynamic Audio is in use), or at least exported as a separate class so the final program could have a fixed-size array of instances, defining its polyphony. This obviously needs a bit of cleverness with the output mixing; you can either use a cascade of the 4-input mixers, or a template-defined N-wide mixer (there's one out there somewhere, ISTR), or some other approach. I did make an 8-wide stereo mixer, but that may be insufficently ambitious!

I don't tend to use Linux much myself, so builds for Windows and macOS might be helpful. And a repository for people to make contributions would be even better.
