Audio visualization method

any of you know how to do this? (is in real time?)
I'd also like to have waveform visualization (like audio editor view or souncloud view)

Starting point would be the audio library, the gui and the analysis examples, especially FFT and peak detect.

From there google audio visulisation, especially the work in the demoscene since the restrictions there in CPU and memory are similar to a teensy.
