Can the teensy 4.1 processor be exchanged with an industrial MIMXRT1061C type? Is this compatible? I would like to do this on my own circuit board to use in a explosion proof enclosure outdoors and am worried about the exposure to direct sunlight and 100F+ temperatures.
 
People have reported success with certain wide temperature range chips. Probably best to comment on that thread. If you build your own board, please consider adding and info about your own experience to that thread. Even if redundant because someone else used the same chip, more info really helps to confirm. It's also fun to see photos of the PCBs, if you're able to share.

The MKL02 bootloader chip is rated for very wide temperature range.
