code size curiosity T3 vs T2

Not an issue at the moment, but as has been previously noted, there seems to be some unused code included in ARM builds and/or needed GCC optimizer mode choice improvements...
The RFM22B radio library and demo build:
Teensy 3.1:

Binary sketch size: 21,780 bytes (of a 262,144 byte maximum)
Estimated memory use: 3,544 bytes (of a 65,536 byte maximum)

Teensy 2:

Binary sketch size: 9,450 bytes (of a 32,256 byte maximum)
Estimated memory use: 577 bytes (of a 2,560 byte maximum)

One might expect the ARM to be 50% or so larger due to average instruction length differences.

This isn't a high priority issue now, but someday it may be.
Plenty of flash and RAM in the T3.1!
