I've just ordered a Teensy 2.0 and a 3.0. I think the Teensy 2.0 would be cool for very small and simple projects, that e.g. just need a few LEDs or small components and mainly communicate over USB.
Would it be possible to sacrifice a few of the digital pins by cutting the board traces and reusing the soldering holes as a kind of small "prototyping area"? Of course I could always put another layer of perfboard on top or wire it just in the air, but soldering it to the border area of the teensy would make it both compact and robust.
TIA
