Hi,
I officially released the new version of my Drone eurorack module, now based on my Motherboard 2.
Sound pack here:
Drone features 4 voices with Sine and Resonant Noise waveforms, all voices can be mixed together using just 1 pot or the corresponding jack input in a "spiral" motion. Each voice has a frequency control and a 1v/oct input. There is also a FM input.
Motherboard is a hardware and firmware platform helping with building modules, it handles the low level tasks like processing inputs and ouputs signals, and provides objects compatible with the Audio library. Then the firmware of the module is separated from the Motherboard's code and is making it easy and quick to work on.
Motherboard provides 16 5v 12bits inputs sampled at 44.1Khz, and 16 8bits outputs, I2S, I2C and MIDI. It protects inputs and MIDI input from voltages outside 0-5v.
The hardware design is modular, there is an expander on the back where to attach a I2S DAC and MIDI TRS jacks or any I2C device, and most of the footprints allow for either through holes or SMD components.
