GrblHAL on Teensy with SD Card

Just wondering if its feasible to send jobs directly to the onboard SD card in their entirety from a gcode sender, then run using cycle start.

Does GRBL HAL support, or can it be made to support this?

Also to eventually implement a touch screen display for jogging and file selection. Can this use the tx/rx pins?
