I was looking around the interwebs for a controller that would work well for the project I have in mind and came across Teensy 4.1. It might just work. I am NOT a programmer, or an electrical engineer so I have a lot to learn. I am technical and understand the basics of HTML, CSS and electrical circuits.
I am leaning towards the standalone unit:

I am thinking a 4.1 + Audio Shield/TDM will be necessary.
