Is there a way to disable PTB3, so I can just have it connected to 3.3V?

Hello,

I am making a custom teensy board and I am using the preprogrammed bootloader purchased from PJRC. When making the PCB I removed the LED on PTB3 and instead of grounding it I just connected it to 3.3V. The board fails to be recognized as a Teensy 4.1.

I think this is due to PTB3 being stuck and I'm wondering if this could be fixed by disabling PTB3 and having it do nothing, or if I should just cover the pad in epoxy/solder mask/some other covering?

Connecting it to 3.3V means it will be effectively shorting the chip when it tries to turn the LED on (PTB3 outputting LOW/GND). Just leave it disconnected (or at least use a resistor to pull it up).

If you don't want the red LED, you need to leave PTB3 unconnected. Shorting unused PTB3 to 3.3V or to GND will not work.
