Midi data filer

I'm not a stranger to using the Teensy for bespoke midi devices, they are all over my studio.

I am fondly remembering the Yamaha midi data filer devices, that would act as a free-running 16 track real-time recorder, along with other utilities.

I thought I would ask here to see if anyone has written anything like the real-time event recorder.

In the event that no one has anything, I'll circle back here and wake this thread up with any updates if/when I give it a go.

When you search for "MIDI sequencer" some threads come up. Maybe there is something similar?

Yup. There's also some usable SMF code out there in the wild, I had one of the SMF players working on a T4.1 out of curiosity.
