NE5532 - spec changed - without part number change

Hi there,

Since some of you are using very popular audio op amp NE5532 in your audio projects, please be aware that Texas Instruments just changed spec of this 45-year old part, NE5532,
without changing part number.

Crucial negative spec sheet changes:
LOWERED Slew rate from 9V/μs to 5V/μs
LOWERED Max Supply voltage positive and negative from 22V to 18V
LOWERED HBM value from 2000V to 1000V
REMOVED from spec: Maximum peak-to-peak output voltage swing, Small-signal differential-voltage amplification, Maximum output-swing bandwidth, Output impedance, Crosstalk attenuation, Overshoot factor

Positive spec sheet changes:
+ Changed Unity-gain bandwidth from 10MHz to 12MHz
+ Changed Input voltage positive and negative from –10V and +10V to –15V and +15V
+ Changed Storage temperature range from –35°C and +150°C to –60°C and +125°C
+ Changed Supply current value from 8mA to 6mA

They changed spec of other parts too, again without changing part number . Just heads up for those who may rely on these parts

Note that this ONLY applies to the Texas Instruments version of the part.
 
The recommended supply voltage range is unchanged. Up to +/-15V.

What changed was the absolute maximum supply voltage.
