This is my latest build of a polysynth, at it's heart it has a Teensy 4.1 buried under the left of the front panel on a small daughter board. The design is loosely based on the Roland Super JX-10/MKS-70 design. It has two self contained 6 note voice cards which provides 12 voices in whole mode and 6 in split and dual modes. Each board has 6 DCOs based around RP2350 and can produce 6 waveforms each. There is an R4 stamp managing the control voltages and switches for the voice cards.
The Teensy 4.1 manages the voice assignments, midi, patch memory, patch display and the front panel which comprises of 16x 16 way port expanders reading 59 encoders and many buttons and LEDs. I think I have 4 pins spare out of 256 lines. It also outputs patch information to 10x RP2040 chips connected to the 10x 2" displays which show patch information.
