Hi all, last year I revealed my Teensy 4.1-based groovebox I was working on for a while, the audio enjoyer xr-1. It was posted on the Teensy forum here: https://www.pjrc.com/xr-1-drum-machine-sampler-and-synthesizer/
I was working with at least one individual to help me with this project, but most people seemed to ghost me, which happens I guess. I was also dealing with lots of things in my personal life, so I pretty much abandoned it for months. The sign-up website has been taken down. I was originally hoping to make a business out of selling it, but I don't feel it is realistic anymore. Additionally, some products have been released since then which kind of cover the same ground, so it's not really differentiating itself as much as it was before, as a consumer product.
I had it in the back of my mind that I could open source the entire project (code, hardware) if people are interested in building it and improving on it. If there is any interest, I can start preparing the software and hardware files into a GitHub repository for people to hack away at. I was using PlatformIO for development and Autodesk Fusion 360 for the hardware designs.
Thanks.
