Hello,
I am working on a custom Teensy 3.2-compatible PCB for a research project at my University. The design uses the MK20DX256VLH7 together with PJRC’s preprogrammed bootloader chip, IC_MKL02Z32_QFN16.
We plan to have the PCB assembled by JLCPCB. JLCPCB already carries the blank NXP MKL02Z32VFG4 as part C1337508, but that part cannot be used because it does not contain PJRC’s Teensy bootloader. Therefore, the PJRC-programmed IC must be registered and shipped to JLCPCB as a customer-consigned component.
Instead of purchasing the chips, receiving them in Houston, and then shipping them again to China, I would like to know whether PJRC could ship the order directly to JLCPCB’s warehouse after JLCPCB approves the consignment.
JLCPCB’s consignment form requests the following information:
Could someone from PJRC, or anyone who has completed a similar consignment, please advise on the following?
I have attached a screenshot of the JLCPCB consignment fields. I can provide the complete warehouse and account information privately once JLCPCB approves the request.

- Component description and application
- Country of origin
- Unit weight
- HS code
- Purchase/shipment invoice
- Tracking information

- Can PJRC ship IC_MKL02Z32_QFN16 directly to a contract manufacturer or JLCPCB warehouse in China while using separate billing information?
- Can PJRC place a JLCPCB consignment number and customer account reference on the shipping label, packing list, and commercial invoice?
- What country of origin and HS code does PJRC normally declare for the programmed IC_MKL02Z32_QFN16?.
- Has PJRC previously shipped these programmed bootloader chips directly to JLCPCB or another PCB assembly company? If so, is there an established process that I should follow?
