SMD Flash with Teensy 4.1 design

Yeah, this chip really wants a well tuned reflow soldering oven!

I'm trying again... this time with 8 resistors. Looks weird, but I can visually inspect every pin.

Happy to report SD listfiles example does see the chip and shows the 5 files I copied onto it with the card reader.

If anyone wants to reproduce this test, see msg #10 for link to the Zetta-to-SD adapter PCB.

Paul,

First: thank you!!!

It's been a busy spring and start to summer, but I finally pre-tinned the pads on a new Zetta, hit it with hot air on the PCBA, and she started working right away. I really appreciate the insight. I'm still getting better at this stuff. And I love the 0-ohm resistor stand-off. That's awesome.

Now to get back to a bit of work on the project. It's so cool, the foundation you've created here.

I've also seen that you feature projects on your Facebook group from time to time. If you'd like to share the Engine Monitor I'm working on (posted previously in the Blog Project Submissions forum), let me know and I can put together a short write-up and some more pics.

Thanks again!

Andy

Glad it worked. :)

Yes, please do add project info if you can share. I believe the blog queue currently has a few months of pending articles, so please understand anything "new" today which isn't a special time sensitive event will likely appear on the website and social media in a few months.
