So I'm looking to take a SNES controller and make it into a bluetooth gamepad, but with more than the 12 buttons it already has. I know I can use the EZ-Key and plan to do that first to get used to soldering something like this but it only has 12 inputs from what I can see. After seeing the teensy usb SNES controller conversion I was wondering if an EZ-link, or even EZ-Key (save money and re-use parts) can be used with a Teensy 2 or 3 and what sort of switches would be good for adding extra buttons to the controller?
I should mention this is the first project I've done like this but I'm pretty good with my hands and a computer. Already trying to wire together a third-party sega controller to a little bluetooth keyboard I had to see if I could. Turning out to be a good learning experience in how to solder.
