Teensy 3.6 trace width between USB socket and VUSB pad

For my project I've been considering cutting the trace between VUSB and Vin on T3.6 and put a Lipo charging / discharge circuit between them. Doing so, however, will pass 1A avg. 2A peak current between the USB socket and the VUSB pad when charging the battery. I did some digging but could not figure out how thick / wide is the trace. Looking at the board the trace does not seem that wide and I wonder if it is safe to pass 2A between them?

edit: I tried a few online trace width calculators and it seems that at least 10 mil trace width is needed for 2 oz pcb with a temperature rise of 20 degrees.
