Hello everybody,

I have a Teensy 4.0 (w/ audio shield) and I would like to use this sensor: HKY-06b+, manufactured by Huake) as input.
HKY-06b+ is a piezo type sensor used to listening cardiac sounds, with the following characteristics:
  • input: 3 -5 v
  • output amplitude range of 0.5 V to 1.0 V

The sensor has three terminals: ground, voltage and signal.
What would be the correct way to connect it to the shield?
Could I use the shield's power pins (3.3v) and connect G and signal to the line-in input?

If anyone can help me, tks!

Piezo sensors have a high source impedance, which might cause issues, but it looks like this one has built-in buffer amplifier as it requires power. So yes I'd try it as you describe.
