Teensy 4.0 dies after a few hours

The last batch of Teensy 4.0 I received have issues: After a few hours they die and I can't program the anymore.
Are they sensitve to USB-voltage? The last USB-adapters have 5.20V output. When connected to the board the voltage is around 5.0 V.
Haven't had any problems before during 4 years and 300 built.

Does the 15 second Restore process work or show no RED LED activity? Here is a found posted note on the process:

Teensy 4.0 & 4.1 also have a restore feature which wipes the flash and rewrites the original problem. Just hold the button for 15 seconds and release the moment you see the brief blink of the red LED. The erase & restore takes about 1 minute (seems like forever) so wait for the red LED to turn off. You'll see the orange LED blink again when it reboots.
 
The Restore son't work.
The only thing happening is a short red flash maybe twice per minute.
