I assume the reason that I am unable to install Teensyduino 1.15 on top of the beta Arduino version 1.5.2 is because this version is not yet supported. (At least it says so in the splash screen.) Will one be available soon? Arduino 1.5.2 is required to run my Due board, which I'm trying to run as a side-by-side comparison with the Teensy3. Thanks, and sorry for all the questions I've been asking lately.

That's correct, 1.5.2 is not supported.

I'm not going to touch 1.5.x until they release 1.5.3.

Eventually Teensyduino will support 1.5.3 or 1.5.4 or whatever they eventually release. But the Arduino developers changed a number of important details about 3rd party board support after 1.5.2 was published, so it really makes little sense for PJRC to pour development hours into supporting 1.5.2 when so much will change again with the 1.5.3 release.

You can run 1.5.2 and 1.0.5 (and any other version, or even multiple copies of the same version) side-by-side on the same computer. It takes more disk space and they look the same, so it takes a little care to remember which one you're running (or look at the window's title bar). The Arduino IDE is designed so you can have separate copies on your hard drive. They share the sketchbook folder, but they work independently.
