I am attempting to install teensyduino on a Mac OSX 10.9.

I have installed the Arduino software (but not the specific version 1.0.3).

The teensyduino installer cannot find the correct directory to enable the "next" button, and I do not know what directory to point it to.

Sorry if this is a FAQ, I did search (and also google).

Steve.

Thanks, for your reply. No luck with using Arduino.app directory. Perhaps, because I have not installed Arduino 1.0.3?

I don't know about that. I did it myself a few days ago using whatever version of Arduino that was the most up-to-date at that time.

The installer will only recognize Arduino 1.0.5. It will not enable the next button for 1.0.3 or any other version.

Just download a fresh copy of Arduino 1.0.5, extract it anywhere on your computer (doesn't have to be /Applications, but do make a mental note where you put it), then select it with the installer and you'll see the next button enable.

The intro page of installer says what version of the installer you have, and which versions(s) of Arduino it can recognize. Since Arduino hasn't published a non-beta version in over a year, only 1.0.5 is supported right now.

Thanks Paul, that worked.

Somehow I mis-read your website, I thought that it stated, somewhere Arduino 1.0.3 ...

Steve.
