Hello all,
I am new to the ISP programming. So if asking something I don't know all the lingo yet.
I bought the teensy 2.0++ with a bootloader all ready on it from teensy. Can I install the 3d printerboard's
CDCbootloader on this chip and experiment with the programming then return the teensy 2.0++ bootloader?

Then use the arudio software to upload firmware just like when you update the printerboard with stepper settings.

I have the Amtel Avrisp mkii, Usbtiny and the Usbasp boards to program with.

In short I want to proto type my own 3d printer board with updates to the printerboard for 3d printing.

Thanks in advance,

PJRC does not distribute the bootloader, so if you erase the chip, there is no way to restore it back to the original state.

Of course, after you've gone to the trouble to solder a 6-pin header or cable to the board, you can simply program it using any of your ISP programming tools. If you do this, please do so knowing the board becomes permanently dedicated to ISP or alternate programming methods.
