USB-C Teensy 4.1?

I browsed the first 5-6 pages, and then I did a few searches and found individual solutions to the issue - and I in fact already add external USB-C ports to my T4.1 products - but I have to ask - why haven't we had a respin of the T4.1 with a USB-C connecter instead of the micro-B that's on there?

That's unfortunate, but understandable.

I find the micro-b connections tend to wear out, at least on the male side, faster than say usb-c. My micro-b cables are fine, then they go kaput, usually when I need to do an update of my software. If you leave them in, they're fine, but removing and re-installing them definitely reduces the contact lifetime. I suppose better cables would have more mating cycles, but where to buy them is elusive. Cheap cables rarely have a mating cycle specification, or MTBF. Fortunately, they are cheap but are a consumable.
