USB connection from D+ / D- pins with external supply

Clearly not on the incoming cable, just the extra pieces added... And since only AC matters for this, red connected to 5V is just as good.
Well I had to redo the wire so I took an old (and tested on a teensy directly) USB cable and cut the cable in pieces to route all my USB signal with this cable : and it worked !!

I would therefore recommend to route your Teensy USB signals with a dedicated USB cable !

USB signals are sensitive to unmatched termination and length. PCB traces should be carefully routed. Signals wires in cables should be twisted.

Bad and cheap USB cables seems to be ok, but transfer rates are low due to errors and repetitions.
