Hi Folks!
I'm working with an old car that I'm adding electric power steering from a Toyota Prius to. the prius power steering accepts the vehicle speed via the can bus to vary the amount of power steering based on speed. in my setup I've got a pulse wave which increases frequency as the vehicle speed increases. I need to translate that frequency to a can bus packet, and I have never worked with CAN before. anyone have any suggestions on how to go about that? thanks!
