What is the state of the audio shield? Is it still being produced?

What the subject questions. Is the audio board still produced? I saw on mouser that its life cycle is not clear.

I sent a message to SparkFun. Many of their people are on vacation this week. Mouser probably has a similar situation. We might not hear much until next week.

The audio shield definitely is still being made and sold. It's not end of life.

SparkFun did briefly run out of stock a little over 1 month ago. We talked with them at the time and answered some questions about PJRC's test fixtures (which we supplied and they are using). My understanding is they ran a large production run of audio shields in November, so we should be seeing plentiful supply well into 2026.

My guess is this may be just some sort of miscommunication with Mouser, maybe leftover from early November.

Edit: Digikey has hundreds in stock without any EOL warning, and of course SparkFun's website shows in stock.

Quick followup, it was indeed a mistake "some codes applied in the background that shouldn’t have" at Mouser.

They've fixed the problem.
