    Teensy would need to go with Rust if it wants to be taken seriously as far as security is concerned. But Rust has a much higher learning curve than C (I'm also dabbling into Rust). Maybe in combination with TockOS?

    I totally misread Paul's answer. But if not a C SDK what then? Arduino would be a mistake IMHO. Teensy is for tinkerers who are fluent in C and comfortable with manipulating registers and such.
