    Yes it does, this was one of the reasons to use touch sensitive faders. Be aware that building a panel like this only makes sense for specific purposes, you won't be able to beat the price of commercial controllers...

    You'd need to setup a running clock using a timer. This essentially runs independent of the other functions and sends out clock pulses to all serial port simultaneously.
