@PaulStoffregen Installed a fresh copy of Arduino 1.8.9 and TD 1.47B5. I was compiling one of my test programs that use the time library and got an error. So I tried compiling 'TimeRTC.ino' and it gave the same...

@KurtE - That took care of the problem. Another lesson learned. I understand string termination with '\0'. But I did not totally understand how fputs() works. Commented out this line: buf.size] = '\n'; I guess...

@KutrE, There is no trailing null after \n that I can see in the hex dump just 0x0A. But I see a lot of repeating code through out the rest of the file. I guess I need to do some basic tests with memcpy(). Thanks

I have a problem with memcpy() that I think was addressed in this thread, but I can't seem to find it, MAYBE I'm wrong:) I have a version of the KILO editor that I modified to work with the T36 and was working with the...

@All I have cleaned up and updated MSC. Added more complete error processing including using sense codes. Funny thing is I have not been able generate any errors yet so not sure how it will respond. I'm sure...

@Kurte Thanks for this information. SSD's are something that I have wanted to play with but just could not afford at that time. The plugin SSD drive would be the best choice for me for minimal hardware clutter. I ...

@WMXZ, @Jean-Marc Just realized I was testing SPI in uSDFS with T3.2 and T3.6. Never did try with the T4. After trying to play a wave file with uSDFS and the audio board it did not work. My bad! And as WMXZ stated:

The credit for uSDFS goes to @WMXZ. I agree it is a great piece of work. Very easy to understand and use.

Yes there is a way to use the built in SDHC card slot with uSDFS. If you look in the examples directory of uSDFS you will find several examples that give you the option to mount SPI, SDHC, USB or all three. Check out...

@mjs513 - Thanks I guess this is probably where I need to start. I have the latest TD software. TD1.47B4 if I have not missed something. Frank B's MP3 player works perfectly with the SDcard on PJRC's audio board....

@mjs513 No. Actually I meant the SDcard slot on the T4B2 breakout board. Sorry about my bad terminology.

I have been working on getting the T4 to work with the Arduino-Teensy-Codec-lib. It uses the SD library so in an attempt to make it work with mcs I had to parallel all of the functions that did any disk access. I got to...

@Jean-Marc I have been looking at different ways to cache reads and writes from USB Mass Storage drives. This is something that I have no experience with. With the T4 there is lots of memory options to use. On one...

@mjs513 I did not include the SPI SD driver in my code as it seemed redundant with having the original wavFilePlayer code in the Audio library even though uSDFS supports it. Was going to play with that later. Is...

@defragster @mjs513. I had the same problem at first with the music skipping and clicking. What it turned out to be was the size of the buffer. Unfortunately If it's to big then it can't return the data fast enough...

@defragster With FatFs it does not matter if the filenames are 8.3 or upper/lowercase. You can use filenames up to 255 characters long. I am totally saturated with listening to SDTEST#.wav. I just downloaded Audacity...
