Hi all,
I'm swapping a Teensy into a project that previously used an Arduino Uno. One of its functions was to control 32 20mA LEDs using 4 TPIC6B596N (http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tpic6b595.pdf).
It works as expected with the Teensy 3.2 on my breadboard, but according to the datasheet:
Has anyone used this chip and encountered odd behavior?
Thanks.

8.4.1 Operation With V(VCC) < 4.5 (Minimum V(VCC))
This device works normally during 4.5 V ≤ V(VCC) ≤ 5.5 V, when operation voltage is lower than 4.5 V. TI can't ensure the behavior of device, including communication interface and current capability.
