Thank you sir! I needed that second pair of eyes on my code. I've been working with this software for almost 2 months now and still did not notice that error. Seems to have fixed my issue!
  2. [Teensy 3.2] Converting binary array to ascii for Hardware Serial Transmission?

    Hi all,

I am working on building an exploded 12-bit ADC for teaching purposes. I have the entire project working and am hitting a tiny brick wall due to my lack of CompSci knowledge.

    My...
  3. LS191 Binary Counter Oscillating between two values instead of counting

    Hi all,
I am again seeking a little guidance on my "exploded" ADC design using the Teensy 3.2. I am using the Teensy as the control logic for my up/down counting type ADC, interfacing with the...

Yes! You are correct, thank you for pointing that out. I think you are helping me down the right path because I think the only reason why I could "force" it to work by force-restarting the Serial in...
  5. attachInterrupt() corrupting Serial buffer requiring Serial restart

I am working on a proof-of-concept ADC to "explode" what's inside of an ADC chip for teaching purposes.

Currently, I have a sketch that uses a push-button to act as a clock-pulse that counts up...

Thanks for the suggestion! For reference of anyone who stumbles across this thread: I wasn't able to find the cause. But after a restart of everything the next morning seems to be working....
  7. digitalRead() the Teensy's 3.3V logic? (digitalRead not working)

I'm working on a final class project with my Teensy 3.2 and the Audio shield. The project has several pots and buttons hooked up to the remaining (free) analog pins. I'll also start by saying I read...
  8. Flange Example Sketch extremely noisy(static)?

I'm playing around with the "Flange" example sketch included in the Audio Library. I'm using a Teensy 3.2, and the audio board, both connected via headers. I've discerned that my hardware should not...
  9. @Paul, Thanks for being taking the time to answer...

@Paul, Thanks for being taking the time to answer newbie questions, I try to do my researching before asking. But as the implementer for the "Reverb" effect to the audio library, what is your...

Newbie mistake, thanks for the pointer, didn't even think of that.

@Frank, No, the audio board has a set of female headers, and I put the male headers on the Teensy, headers are truly soldered to each board.
  12. Can't analogRead and play audio at the same time without massive interference

I am playing around with the Teensy 3.2 and the audio shield.

I added a little 10k pot, using the audio board "GND" and 3.3V, and analogRead on pin A0 to change effect parameters.

    SD-card...

Okay, that really clears things up. Thank you, Paul!

You made a comment in some other similar thread from years ago, advising the poster to just opt for a Teensy 3.5 or 3.6 instead of working...
  14. Adding 23A1024 RAM chip to audio board for "Reverb" effect?

I'm working on a project similar to Blackaddr: a guitar effects box. I'm using a Teensy 3.2, I ordered one (and an audio board) after watching the tutorial video.

    I've found nearly similar threads...
